Symbols for installation
This symbol applies to discharge lamps. It indicates that these luminaires may be used on non-flammable, flame-retardant or normal flammable building materials in accordance with DIN 4102. |
This symbol applies to luminaires with discharge lamps for installation in and on furnishings (furniture). It indicates that these luminaires may be attached in the specified manner to furnishings made of non-flammable, flame-retardant or normal flammable building materials in accordance with DIN 4102, even if they are coated, varnished or veneered. |
This symbol applies to luminaires with discharge lamps and luminaires for incandescent lamps for installation in and on furnishings (furniture). It indicates that these luminaires may be attached in the specified manner to furnishings made of non-flammable, flame-retardant or normal flammable building materials according to DIN 4102, even if they are coated, varnished or veneered, but also to materials with an unknown fire response. |
